General Notice: 2026 Director Nominations
GENERAL NOTICE OF DIRECTOR NOMINATIONS
HOMEOWNERS OF KONO TAYEE ESTATES
The Board of Directors is providing this General Notice of Director Nominations in advance of the upcoming Annual Meeting and Director Election.
Election Information: Annual Meeting / Election Date: Saturday July 11, 2026 - 10:00 AM. Directors will be elected to serve a one year term on the Board of Directors.
Nomination Process: Pursuant to the Association’s Bylaws and California Civil Code, all members in good standing are eligible to nominate themselves for election to the Board of Directors, subject to the candidate qualifications set forth in the governing documents.
Nomination Deadline: All nominations must be received no later than: May 5, 2026 (5:00 PM PST)
How to Submit a Nomination: Members may submit their nomination using any of the following methods:
Online: submit directly through the association website konotayeehoa.org (preferred)
Email: send email to the Inspector of Elections at election@konotayeehoa.org
Mail: Send completed nomination form to the Inspector of Elections at 7897 Richard Drive, Lucerne, CA 95458.
Candidate Information: Candidates may (and are encouraged to) submit a brief candidate statement to be included with the ballot materials. Additional details and optional forms will be made available on the Association website.
Important Election Rules
Self-nomination is required to be placed on the ballot.
Nominations from the floor will not be permitted, in accordance with the Association’s Bylaws.
All candidates must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the governing documents and California law.
The election will be conducted by secret ballot in accordance with California Civil Code §§5100–5135.
What Happens Next: Following the close of nominations
The final list of qualified candidates will be confirmed
Ballots will be distributed to all members at least 30 days prior to the election
Voting will be conducted by secret ballot and tabulated at the Annual Meeting
