False start....there is a large fish die off happening all over the lake right now with millions of shad dying along with some catfish, bass, and bluegill due to low oxygen levels in the Lake.
This means that Weed Tech Pro is shut down for a week or two and cannot do any aquatic treatments until this subsides or until the county gives the go ahead. I will keep you informed when Kirk is able to resume treating the weeds.

Dear Homeowners,
Aquatic weed treatment is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 11, 2025.
Treatment plans may be adjusted based on environmental conditions such as wind, dissolved oxygen levels, and water temperature. If any of these conditions are outside safe or effective limits, the treatment will be postponed and rescheduled.
Ongoing Monitoring & Follow-Up
Follow-up treatments will be applied as needed throughout the remainder of the 2025 growing season. Weed Tech Pro will conduct bi-monthly inspections and report their findings to the Homeowners of Kono Tayee Estates HOA Board.
We will provide daily updates during the treatment period to keep you informed of progress and confirm when treatments are completed.
Important Safety Information & Guidelines from Weed Tech Pro
Water Use Precautions:
While the treated water remains safe for recreational activities (such as swimming and fishing), we ask that people and pets avoid the treated areas for at least 12 hours after each application, out of an abundance of caution.
Additionally, please turn off any irrigation systems that draw water from treated areas for at least 24 hours after treatment.
Do Not Approach Applicators:
For everyone’s safety, please do not approach or engage with Weed Tech Pro applicators while they are working. If you have questions or concerns, kindly direct them to the board, and we will ensure they are addressed by the appropriate parties.
