Community Clean Up 11/8 Recap

Another huge round of appreciation for our incredible Kono Tayee Estates volunteers! We asked for help for our Community Clean-Up Day — and once again, you delivered.

Thanks to the many helping hands across the neighborhood who helped complete Phase 1 of our clean-up efforts, we:

• Cleared and hauled a total of 15,300 lbs (7.65 TONS!) to the dump

• Removed a fallen eucalyptus tree

• Tackled trimming, raking, hauling, and shoreline cleanup

• Supported crews with refreshments and coordination throughout the day

From pruning and moving rock, to hauling debris and cleaning common areas, to simply showing up ready to work — every contribution mattered, and it truly showed. The improvements around the community are already noticeable, and we couldn’t have accomplished this without your time, energy, and teamwork.

We still have more to do, but this was an incredible step forward.

Many, many thanks to everyone who participated and the beautification committee lead by Chris LeGue & Brenda Reyes.
