Rattlesnake Warning
As temperatures rise, please remain vigilant while walking, working, or recreating around the community. A juvenile rattlesnake was recently spotted near the corner of Richard Drive and Alston Way. Hot weather often increases snake activity as they seek shade, water, and cooler areas.
Please take a few precautions:
Watch where you step, especially near rocks, brush, woodpiles, and tall grass.
Keep pets on a leash and under control when walking.
Wear closed-toe shoes when working outdoors.
Do not approach, handle, or attempt to remove a rattlesnake.
If you encounter a snake, give it plenty of space and allow it to move away on its own.
Thank you for helping keep our community safe. Please use extra caution around common areas, roadways, and undeveloped lots during the summer months.
Stay safe,
