General Notice of Election Results for Amended CC&Rs

Dear Homeowners of Kono Tayee Estates,

Thank you to all members who participated in the recent election regarding the proposed updates to our community’s CC&Rs. The ballot count took place on May 24, 2026 at our open meeting at the Beach/BBQ area. 

Below are the official results:

• Total Ballot Envelopes Returned: 110

• Duplicate Ballots: 1

• Board of Directors Ballots Received: 1

• Ballot Not Signed: 1

• Total Valid Ballots Counted: 107

Results:

• CC&Rs:

• 74 for, 33 against, 0 blank

• Outcome: Did not pass (Required at least 82 “for” votes to meet the 2/3 approval threshold of the entire membership.)

We appreciate everyone who took the time to review the proposed changes and cast a ballot. 

The existing CC&Rs will remain in place. The board will review options and gather feedback from the community before making a decision on next steps related to amending the CC&Rs.
